Trust More – FearLess

There’s a lot of fear going on during this season.

Trust is the opposite of fear.

  • Psalms 91:1-2 (NKJV) – He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
    Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
    My God, in Him I will trust.”
  • So this equates to trust in God – 2 Timothy 1:7b – … but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
  • And this is the biblical formula of how to invoke trust – Philippians 4:8-9 (NKJV) – Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

It’s not about flaunting your trust in God.

  • This is no time for showing off your trust – Matthew 4:7 (NKJV) – Jesus said to him, “It is written again,‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’ ”

Are you brave enough to let the Lord reset things?

  • People and ministries must be subject itself to reset – Matthew 16:18-19a (NKJV) – And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven

Who’s in control?

  • Romans 8:1-2 (NKJV)There istherefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who[a] do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
