Proverbs 4:7 (KJV)
Wisdom is the principle thing, therefore get wisdom and in all your getting, get understanding.
Everything in life is a
wisdom problem. We all go through many areas where we seek out , or think, I wonder how I can . . .
Erudition (definition)
Knowledge acquired by study, research, etc; learning; scholarship
Luke 9:12-14
12 – When the day began to wear away, the twelve came and said to Him, “Send the multitude away, that they may go into the surrounding towns and country, and lodge and get provisions; for we are in a deserted place here”
13 – But He said to them, “You give them something to eat”
And they said, “We have no more than five loaves and two fish, unless we go and buy food for all these people”
14 – For there were about five thousand men
Then He said to His disciples, “Make them sit down in groups of fifty”
15 – And they did so, and made them all sit down
16 – Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude
17 – So they all ate and were filled, and twelve baskets of the leftover fragments were taken up by them.
Lets summarize what the disciples did in these scriptures:
- Obeyed Jesus
- They used what they had, and took action; they started handing out food
- The miracle happened in the hands of the disciples
When you obey God, and you use what you have been given for the kingdom, multiplication occurs.
Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. It says they rejected knowledge.
There are people out there dying to hear the truth about the LORD Jesus, but they don’t know that he is the answer. That’s where you and I come in. Use what you have to advance the kingdom. Just knowing it does it help you any if you don’t act on it.
It seems many people are getting knowledge but yet never coming to an understanding of the Lord.
John 7:37-38
37. On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried saying, If anyone thirsts, let him to come to me and drink.
38. He who believes in me, as the scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.
John 7:38 (Amplified)
He who believes in me ( who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on me ) as the scripture has said, “From his innermost being will flow continually rivers of living water.
Isaiah 58:11 – the lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in draught and strengthen your bones. you shall be like a watered garden and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
John 4:14 – but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life
You have to become a vessel for the holy spirit to dwell in. Through us the kingdom, heaven, comes down to earth, because his Spirit lives in us. When we allow him to flow through us, we can touch this world with his love.
It is not important that you don’t have everything figured out, the question is, will you trust the Lord? There should be a well springing up from you, problem is that we have things in the way of the flow.
Unresolved emotional issues can hinder God’s flow through us.
