We must know God!  It’s a matter of trust. It truly is a trust thing.

• Know God – Hosea 4:6 – My people are being destroyed because they don’t know me. Since you priests refuse to know me, I refuse to recognize you as my priests. Since you have forgotten the laws of your God, I will forget to bless your children.
• Those that know their God will do mighty exploits during this time – Daniel 11:32

 What time was Daniel talking about? – Daniel 9:24-27 – “7 weeks (weeks = 7 years) are determined for your people and for your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy. ²⁵ “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince, There shall be 7 weeks and 62 weeks; the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublesome times. ²⁶ “And after the 62 weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; and the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, and till the end of the war desolations are determined. ²⁷ Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for on1 week; but in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate.”

• Lawlessness precedes this – 2 Thessalonians 2:7 – For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.
• But the restrainer must be removed and the Church is the restrainer – 1 Corinthians 3:16 – Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

We must know our mission and our mission is to take as many with us as possible.

• Many got discouraged because it’s a zero sum game where the net gain never to out distanced the losses
• Maybe the Church has the wrong focus/target – 2 Peter 3:9 – The Lord is not slack concerning Hispromise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
• Can’t be afraid of dying – Matthew 10:39 – That is our weapon – Revelation 12:11

Self is a 4 letter word – Galatians 6:8 – Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.

• The enemy wants to wear out the saints – Galatians 6:9 – So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

We must be converted

• Ephesians 5:13-14 – But their evil intentions will be exposed when the light shines on them, for the light makes everything visible. This is why it is said, “Awake, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will give you light.”
• Isaiah 52:1 – Awake, awake, put on your strength, O Zion (people of God); put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; for there shall no more come into you the uncircumcised and the unclean.
• What would we do for the next great awakening/revival

Only new creations can carry this – Behold (See, reckon genitive absolutely) – 2 Corinthians 5:17 – Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

• Changed from the inside on out – Romans 12:1-2 – I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. ² And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
